These drinks almost always have very high levels of sodium. You might not realize how much salt you are getting from liquid drinks because they are not salty. If your doctor has instructed you to reduce your salt intake. Not putting salt on your food might not be enough. You really need to look at how much salt is in everything you consume, particularly ingredients used to cook with and all liquids.
